About me

I worked for many years as a web designer but I realised that creating something I could hold in my hands was rather more satisfying. I'm still not quite sure how that lead me to make cushions but here I am! Maybe my interest in interior design: a cushion or two can change the look of a room in an instant.

I would describe my work as playful and eclectic, and it appeals to adults and children alike.

From the outset I have wanted my business to be as ethical as possible, and this is reflected in my choice of materials: fairtrade organic cotton made in India, eco felt made from recycled plastic bottles, and linen, which consumes far less water and pesticides than conventional cotton and so can be considered more eco friendly. I also use water based inks in my prints, it's certified as safe for children's products.
