Genetri Maraca (Large)
This genetri maraca is very similar to an African "shekere", but it is made of coconut and has small, ball-like genetri seeds weaved around the outside of it. It is a simple instrument to play and makes a fantastic 'cha cha cha' sound. The shekere is commonly heard in Latin samba music.

How to play: Hold the shekere or maraca and shake back and forth or up and down, or hold the maraca / shekere in the palm of your other hand and scrape the genetri seeds against the surface of the maraca. You can also hit the maraca or shekere with your hand for a more subtle sound.
